This was a great place for an off-season visit to Acadia! Perfect location - far enough from the downtown Bar Harbor that it felt quiet and remote with a beautiful waterfront view across the main road, but close enough to be convenient to the downtown, the trails, and Ellsworth when needed. The house is tucked into a little cove of trees, so we found it as we were driving past and had to turn around, but we quickly learned the markers so we would know when to turn into the driveway. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The shower in the second bathroom was a little dated but everything else was clean and modern. Linens were clean, though not great quality (tiny bath towels; the fitted sheet was a little shrunk and kept popping off the bed in the morning). Excellent value for the winter rate, but I looked into booking again for the early summer or late fall and I'm not sure it would be worth those much higher rates, even for how pricey the whole island is. Overall a great stay!

This house was a great set up for a dog and we appreciated Patrick’s communication. It’s very close to everything too so we didn’t feel like we were constantly driving to get to where we wanted to go.
